Diamond Mine 2 features a 6 reel grid that provides up to 117,649 ways to win. Symbols include various gemstones and mining tools that drop onto the reels. Every winning combination triggers the tumbling reels mechanic, where winning symbols are removed and replaced by new ones to potentially create consecutive wins in a single spin.

The bonus round is triggered by landing scatter symbols, awarding free spins with an increasing win multiplier. This multiplier grows with every successful tumble during the feature.
