Elite of Evil Portal of Gold uses a 6x6 grid where wins are formed by landing clusters of four or more matching symbols. When a win occurs, the symbols are removed and replaced by new ones falling from above. This cascading mechanic allows for multiple consecutive wins on a single spin, with each successive cascade increasing a win multiplier.

The game includes a boss fighting feature where players progress through different realms by completing symbol combinations. A free spins round is also available, featuring an unlimited multiplier that does not reset until the round ends.
