Crystal Golem operates on a 5x3 reel set with 20 fixed paylines and a cascading mechanic where winning symbols disappear to let new ones drop. The base game introduces SuperSpinners positioned between symbols, which can multiply individual line wins when a winning combination passes through them. Players spin through a mystical world filled with glowing crystals and magical creatures as they aim to land regular payline hits.

Triggering the free spins round requires landing three Crystal Scatters, which introduces upgradable Wild Golem symbols that can persist across multiple wins. Upgrading the golems on each reel can also award extra free spins and retriggers.
