Vikings Journey features a 5x4 layout where wins form by landing matching symbols in adjacent positions from left to right. The Viking symbol acts as a wild that moves across the reels to trigger respins, while landing 3 or more King symbols initiates additional respins. Low-value symbols are represented by colored shields.

Filling the progress bar launches the King's Coins minigame, which uses 3 free spins and fixed coin symbols to accumulate cash values. Viking multipliers can boost these coin totals, and a grand win is available during this feature.
