Eye of Dead presents a retro 5-reel and 3-row layout with 10 fixed paylines. Wins are formed by landing matching symbols across these lines from left to right. The base game focuses on classic Egyptian imagery, providing a straightforward experience without complex background music or animations. Players navigate the temple setting while aiming for standard symbol combinations to trigger payouts.

The main feature is a free spins round triggered by landing 3 or more book scatter symbols. During this bonus, wild symbols upgrade lower-paying icons into higher-paying ones and grant additional spins.
