Jumanji, explained
Updated 12 Oct 2026Inside the Jumanji free spins
3 or more Jumanji box scatters start the board game. You pick an animal token and roll two dice to move around the board, with six to eight rolls depending on how many scatters triggered it. Most spaces award instant coin wins or extra rolls, and one opens a Mystery feature.
The corners are where the bigger wins sit. Each is a free spins version of a base game feature: 10 Vines spins with a respin after every win, 7 Monsoon spins with random wild reels, 6 Monkey spins that shuffle into wins, and 5 Stampede spins where rhinos add wilds on every spin. There is no bonus buy.
Between the bonuses
The base game uses an unusual layout: 5 reels holding 3, 4, 5, 4 and 3 symbols, with 36 paylines. Card ranks are the low pays, a pelican, crocodile and rhino pay more, and the lion is the top symbol. Any spin can bring one of four random modifiers: Sticky Vines, Monsoon Wilds, Monkey Mayhem or Wild Stampede.
Is Jumanji for you?
It suits players who like plenty happening on ordinary spins and a bonus that feels like a game of its own. Jungle Spirit Megaways offers a jungle animal theme on a much bigger reel set, and Wild Turkey keeps things light with stacked wilds and free spins.
